Wearing the Wind as Rings (SARAS 0501)
The extraordinary full scale aleatoric (chance) composition for 20 sets of Wind Chimes.
Performed by the composer, this remarkable work is in four movements:
West Wind (Autumn), North Wind (Winter), East Wind (Spring), South Wind (Summer) ~
a Four Seasons for the New Millennium.
For the realisation of her work, Nessa sought out sets of chimes from all over the world: the core of precision-tuned Woodstock Percussion chimes are supplemented by metal chimes from Israel, India, Indonesia, China & Japan;
bamboo and mother-of-pearl chimes are also used in East Wind (Spring).

in three pitch ranges: Alto (high), Tenor (Middle), Baritone (low).
Conceived & performed by Nessa Glen to produce the effect of Wind Chimes 'in the wild',
these CDs make available on demand the sounds of Wind Chimes costing hundreds of pounds.
They can be enjoyed at any time, at any volume level, in any weather.
Sets are already widely used not only for relaxation & meditation,
but also for healing, music therapy & drug rehabilitation.
